I got to “Dad” and had to scroll down and reblog for a break because I laughed so hard I nearly threw up twice.

"Killing her seems a bit harsh"

Tenshi came home with a black eye and a few cuts. Better than the last couple of times.

Immediately, Ashana’s eyes narrowed. She stood up from the sofa, approaching Tenshi with her typical graceful stride.

"Whose ass do I have to kick?"

One of his ears flicked in curiosity. “Mew?”

"…It is assumed that our kind originate from some sort of scientific anomaly. However, I have reason to believe that we were formed by supernatural influence. As silly as that may sound."

"Demons?" He remembered being called such once.

Glynda is the instructor/professor of the combat sessions because each time the floor gets damaged she just restores it back with her semblance, like what she did to the cafeteria.

He shook his head. “Not really?”

"It has not even crossed your mind?" She looked mildly surprised, but not too shocked. She shook her head. "No matter. I will…explain it another time. Someday, there will be something that I will show you."

He hopped off the couch and went to stand next to her.

"…Have you ever wondered what it is that make us so different from the humans, Tenshi?" She continued to stare at the window, watching as the clouds rolled by with the wind. "Apart from the obvious. Moreso…the reason that we’re this way."

He shook his head. “Not really?”

"Whose ass do I have to kick?"

"So, since they won’t give it to us, we must take it by force."

The alabaster-haired girl gave the smallest of nods, her expression somber. “I do hope for equality, but we do not have an army at our disposal. Centuries have passed and we still remain below those who consider themselves pure. The peaceful approach only brings misery to those who would gladly join hand-in-hand with the human as equals, but find themselves instead trampled and used.”

She brought herself to a standing position in one swift movement, facing the window, her arms held behind her back like that of a warlord contemplating his next move. “An individual can only do so much. But when you do not have others at your side, you must do what you can to earn respect and instill fear in those who would seek to destroy you.”

He hopped off the couch and went to stand next to her.
